1. Why has XanGo decided to launch this product?
This product is an extension of XanGo's worldwide charitable initiative known as XanGo Goodness. Since its inception, XanGo has mobilized its distributors and employees through XanGo Goodness to make a tangible difference in the welfare of children and families all over the world. The XanGo Meal Pack program is the next step in empowering XanGo distributors to help meet the needs of some of the most impoverished areas of the world. It also helps answer another frequent question we receive from distributors, “What more can I do?” This program will allow Distributors to be personally linked to a charitable cause by their donation of the meal product.
2. What is the new product and how will it be used?
The XanGo Meal Pack is a meal replacement product that is the first step out of starvation. A dry powder formulation for the severely malnourished, it helps to strengthen those who cannot properly digest solid food due to long periods of poverty, famine and other disasters. The XanGo Meal Pack is an innovative product formulation that is effective in meeting basic nutritional needs by simply adding water.
3. Why has XanGo chosen to focus on hunger as an issue?
There are many issues facing the children and families of the world, yet hunger continues to be one of the most prevalent and long-lasting crises affecting the world population. XanGo, as a company committed to improving quality of life, has looked at the hunger epidemic and in response has created a proprietary formula that can help address this devastating and widespread issue. The XanGo Meal Pack not only has the ability to ease the suffering of those who experience severe malnutrition but can, in the end, help save countless lives.
4. Who will be distributing the XanGo Meal Pack to the different areas of the world?
XanGo has partnered with AmeriCares to ensure the delivery of XanGo Meal Packs where they are most needed. For nearly three decades AmeriCares has worked through strategic partnerships to provide more than $9 billion USD of aid to 137 countries.
As XanGo distributors we purchase Meal Packs from Xango (just like we purchase any other of their products with a 50% pay out) and then donate them to AmeriCares where they deliver 100% of the Meal Packs to areas that need it most. This is important to realize ... not just a portion of what we donate gets delivered, but 100% of the Meal Packs get delivered.
5. Why not feed the kids in the U.S.A.?
The meal packs are designed for the severely malnourished (for those who can not assimilate food). In the U.S. A. we have hungry kids, but not an abundance of severely malnourished kids. AmeriCares delivers the meal packs where needed most. We have safety nets in place in our country so this doesn't happen, like welfare, soup kitchens, Medicaid, food stamps, and other charitable organizations.
The good news is, that if you have a deep desire to feed hungry kids in this country or have a mission that you would rather do ... this program will give you the money necessary to give to whatever charitable organization you would like.
6. Is this tax deductible?
XanGo is not a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and does not issue tax receipts. Anyone who signs up for a Meal Pack through your organization will receive a year-end tax receipt from AmeriCares, XanGo’s non-profit distribution partner. Your members should consult with their tax advisors for answers to specific tax questions.

9. Am I limited to just buying 40 meals?
As a XanGo distributor you may purchase ANY of their premium products.
10. Is it "right" to make money off of starving children?
Who ever takes on the task of feeding starving children, whether it be us, charitable organizations or the highly paid actor on TV asking you to send in your money ... each one will be compensated. This is a HUGE task and advertising is very expensive. We are the advertisers. But what is unique about our program, is that we actually purchase meals and they get delivered! We aren't asking for monetary donations where only a very small fraction of it actually reaches the children in the way of food. This is the most effective way to help solve the problem. If you're not part of the solution ... you're part of the problem. How many people do you know that can actually say they feed starving children every month? How many people do you know that can afford to do that? This program allows you to be a part of the solution.
